After getting back from Church this morning, my wife went to get groceries and I went and walked on the treadmill for a mile. I’m starting out with a mile at an incline of 4 at 3mph. It gets me going and it doesn’t hurt my knee. Last year, I was walking anywhere from 30-40 miles per week which averages out to about 5 miles per day. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get to that level anytime soon (last year, to add in extra exercise, we walked around the city lake at lunch and it’s too cold to do that right now). So, I’ll probably just stick with what I can do on the treadmill for now.
Anyway, after that, I got extremely tired after noon or so while I was in the middle of watching football. I had to take a nap. Little did I know, that nap would last for a couple of hours. Whew, I guess I needed it. Unlike any other time in my life, I guess breaking away from caffeine and sugar has left me a little tired as I am converting to eating more healthy food.
On the football playoffs front, I didn’t watch as much of the two games on tv today… mostly because of my nap. The Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles won their games. The wild card games turned out to be pretty decent games overall. Next weekend’s divisional games will be really good and I’m looking forward to watching them. After watching those games, I’ll tell you who I think will win the Super Bowl. At this point, I really don’t care who wins.
We are only 3 episodes away from finishing up season 4 of Lost!
