Tonight was the final debate for the 2008 Presidential Election. I didn’t get to watch much of it, but what I did get to see of it, it was the same rehash of everything we’ve already heard. Politics as usual. Nothing groundbreaking. It’s Obama’s election to lose and I’m not sure how that could happen unless it turned out he wasn’t an American citizen. The next few years are going to be important to watch as the entire political process will be run by Democrats in a position of majority in both Houses. If they can’t accomplish their political agenda this time around, they should just disband their party and give up. For the rest of us, if they do act together as one, we are in for some major changes involving our state of living. I’m no liberal and the Democrat agenda is nothing but a Liberal Manifesto. The Phillies just won so they are the first team into the World Series. Tampa Bay should be right on their heels. Oh, I watched the latest Indiana Jones movie and while I am an Indiana Jones fan, I despised the latest attempt at the series. I was very disappointed.

I’m glad I missed the movie. That’ll be the end of that series, because Harrison Ford is 66. And what’s up with Spielberg? Has he lost his touch?
Lately it seems like his blockbuster status has deteriorated. Sure, Indiana Jones made big bucks, but seriously, it’s just not that good and it’s by far and away the worst of the 4 movies. George Lucas has had the same thing happen. They hit it big in their prime, but as they move on, their touch appears to lack the intensity or insight necessary to make truly great movies.
Eye candy and dollars does not equal good movie.
