The remnants of Hurricane Ike came through our area today.  Strong winds and pouring rain woke us up early this morning and not long after, our electric went out.  Luckily, our electric was only out for about 3 hours or so and everything was back to normal for the rest of the day.  The local rivers and creeks were all over their banks and quite a bit of flash flooding resulted from the rain.  Nothing close to what the people on the coast experienced though as they have months and maybe years of work ahead of them to repair the damage.  We decided to finish up the weekend by watching another movie.  This time, we picked out “I Am Legend” from the shelf.  I really enjoy watching that movie.
