Tonight, Sarah Palin, John McCain’s choice to be his running mate, made her first major public speech. If you have read my articles at Synaptic Domination about her, you would know I am a bit skeptical about her being the choice. Last night definitely soothed some of my fears about her but I still need more information on her policy stances before I become a believer. One speech does not make a worthy candidate. Yes, she was dominant, confident, and poised, but the true nature of her stances will come out in the next 60 days and especially during the VP debate with Joe Biden. I think she took a huge step forward tonight which was great, we just need more. Republicans still need some major improvements in several states to have a legitimate shot at winning the Presidency. McCain will formally accept the Republican nomination tomorrow night and I’m sure it will be another speech worth watching even if it’s not in front of 80,000 people in a stadium.
