After having a week to calm my hatred of bowling, I actually enjoyed myself this evening.  It wasn’t a normal evening though since we bowled the “blind” team.  That means we had nobody but ourselves to wait on and the lanes functioned through the night.  Rather than spending 3+ hours bowling, I was there and back in less than 2 hours.  Absolutely fantastic!!!

I bowled decent with games of 188, 188, and 219.  I thought seriously about trying for a triplicate (which I would have received a patch for) but in the last game, I would have had to throw a gutter ball and then get 3 pins on my last shot.  I didn’t think I could just get 3 so I went for the highest score I could get.

We won all 7 points easily so we should be in good shape in the standings.  Tomorrow night is soccer.  We only have 3 games left including tomorrow night.  I’m hoping that we get over the hump and pull out a win with our effort.
