The conference championship games are set after a wild weekend in the NFL playoffs.  Arizona found out that they are going to host the NFC Championship game next weekend, hosting the Philadelphia Eagles.  Amazing considering they were the 4th seed and 10 point underdogs in yesterday’s game.  The Eagles are riding their defense so it will be a tough test for the Cardinals.

As for the AFC, the Pittsburgh Steelers overwhelmed the San Diego Chargers today and will host the Baltimore Ravens next weekend to determine the AFC representative in the Super Bowl.  My guess at the Super Bowl is this:  Philadelphia versus Pittsburgh with Pittsburgh coming out on top.  I would like to think Arizona can make it, but I’ve always bet on defense winning the big game.

My wife and I finished up season 4 of Lost last night.  We are set for season 5 to begin on January 21st.  We can’t wait!  There are officially 2 seasons left so the remaining episodes should all be terrific!

There are a few movies coming out Tuesday that I would like to watch:  Appaloosa (looks really good), Mirrors, Swing Vote, My Best Friend’s Girl, and The Family That Preys (a Tyler Perry movie).  I don’t expect much of the middle 3, but I’ll give them a shot.  I still plan on watching a movie that came out last week that I haven’t rented yet:  Bangkok Dangerous with Nicolas Cage.  With bowling and soccer, I don’t really have much time to watch movies during the week anymore so I’m probably going to get behind.
