Made it through soccer alive!  I didn’t play a whole lot, but I did the best I could.  We led quite a bit of the game and had a great chance to win, but we fell 5-4.  Not bad for our first effort at soccer as a full team and for some of us, our very first soccer game of our lives.  I am proud to be a part of the team and the game felt like a true team effort.  As we get more into the season and our stamina and teamwork improves, I think we’ll see some great efforts in our upcoming games.  My knee wasn’t great, but as I said, I did the best I could and I hope my impact was a net positive one.  Oh, our name is the Fidelity Fury in case you didn’t know.

We left early to watch the previous soccer game to get an idea of how the league plays so I didn’t have a whole lot of time to myself today.  We are currently watching a Lost episode before bed because I’m all worked up from soccer.  There are some movies at the Redbox that I will hopefully have a chance to rent in the next few days.

My meeting went great and it should turn out fruitful.  I’m looking forward to the future outcome of that.
