Today was a long day… and I was tired this evening for bowling.  I ran out of gas after the first game and I wasn’t all that happy with how the games were going.  Sometimes, the pins just don’t fall for me but they do for everyone else.  I will go an entire night and hit the pocket and not get a strike… but if I throw a bad ball and it shouldn’t be a strike, I get one.  It makes no sense.  Then, to make matters worse, the other team carries everything they throw no matter if it’s close, not close, or whatever.  Better lucky than good.

Anyway, we only won one of our three games and came away with 2 out of 7 pts heading into the last week of the season.  We should be in a position where we only need to win one game to win 1st place, but we should have been able to finish it tonight.  I had less than 10 strikes in 3 games, and about 20, 9 pin counts…  Yeah, that’s how it went.  I had games of 202, 162, and 174.  They had players bowl 240’s and 260’s…

Was it me, or was the inauguration an overhyped media machine today?  If we paid this much attention to our politics in the past, our nation wouldn’t be in the position it is right now.  All of our issues from the past 60 years would have been solved in a 4 year term.  I’m glad it’s done with.

Tomorrow night is soccer night, and the return of Lost… that sucks for me because I won’t get to see it all live.
