Thanksgiving Away

We are here in Arizona enjoying the nice weather and time with the family.  Surprisingly, the weather around here is also very nice (but it always is in November…  it hasn’t fooled us).  We’ve had highs in the 70’s and lows in the 40’s so it’s not much different from where we live at this particular time.  Walking outside here in the morning is actually cold!

We also had our family Thanksgiving today.  It’s always special for me to be able to get together and spend some family time together.  When time together is so hard to come by, by being over 1,000 miles apart, it makes it so much more important when you are allowed to be together.  So, we ate turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and all kinds of great desserts!  We watched a nice movie, “Second Chance” afterwards and then I got to stay up late watching movies with my mom and oldest niece and nephew.  Reminds me of the old times.
