This was the year for my new driver’s license.  I decided to head in a little earlier while I had the chance and took care of getting my new license today.  It wasn’t a bad experience but I did find it odd that the DMV doesn’t check hearing for the test…  Checking sight for a minimum of 20/40 with at least “one” eye and making sure you know a subset of the road signs and you’re good to go.  I’m pretty sure sound should be a requirement…  But I now have my license for 6 more years… 2014 here I come.

Anyway, yesterday I said our bowling team won by 3 pins… well, it looks like we didn’t.  Someone must have miscounted because the league standings show that we lost the overall pin count.  So that kinda sucks.  It’s only 1 point, but 1 point can be huge come playoff time.

My wife and I started watching a movie her uncle lended to us this evening, “This Christmas.”  She’s too tired to finish so we’ll finish up tomorrow.  So far, it’s a pretty good movie.  I’m enjoying it.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!  Again for me, YAY!!
