Check out the photo (courtesy of John, our photo journalist extraordinaire).  “Cheap” is a relative term of course but when compared to $4.xx per gallon, it’s a great deal!  Sad but true…  When I fill up our vehicle, I will actually be able to put enough gas in to push it over three quarters of a tank.  The upper level of our gas tank probably has rust on it since it hasn’t been full in over a year.  But, if you really think about it, isn’t it sad that it has taken an economic collapse the size of which we haven’t seen in about 100 years to bring gas down to a more affordable range?

Tomorrow we are flying off to visit my parents and my sister’s family in Arizona.  It is always fun and enjoyable to spend time with our family in their homes and spend an early Thanksgiving together in person.  Time together is so valuable and we are grateful for every moment we are allowed to spend together.  On a side note, it’s even better for me because I get to have 2 turkey dinners instead of one without having a divorced family.
