Today was Black Friday but it was a normal Friday for us.  My wife usually goes out early and shops the sales each year but we weren’t able to do that this year.  I hope everyone else that could take advantage of the discounted sales were able to do so as it is a great day to experience the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.  Maybe next year will be better for us as hopefully the economy and job market rebounds from the current dire circumstances.

We watched a few movies today while we spent time together.  Forrest Gump was on television so we watched that and finished it up on DVD.  Then, we started watching Shrek the Third and made it about halfway through.  I enjoyed the first two Shrek movies but so far, I’m not liking the third movie at all.
