I’m done with baseball this year. The Red Sox lost their game tonight so they are out of the playoffs. The World Series is a Tampa Bay Rays versus Philadelphia Phillies matchup. I could care less about either team so I am not going to watch a single inning of the upcoming series. Neither team is a dominant team and basically win by luck 75% of the time. I hate it when upstart teams take the stage from legit contenders. It’s like watching a 1 hit wonder hit it big with a song and then disappear from thought until 20 years later and you’re like, oh yeah, that was a good song. Same thing here. These 2 teams are not going to be legit contenders and we’ll look back and have a hard time remembering who won the series unless you’re from Tampa or Philly. The Rams won their 2nd game in a row. Amazing, I know. Football this year is really down in quality of competition. There just isn’t that many good teams and the ones who are the current best all have their own serious weaknesses. Ah well, parity seems to be ruling all sports now.
