Seinfeld, Lost, & More

I finished up the Seinfeld & Philosophy book.  14 chapters, maybe 4 worth reading.  Finishing the book became a situation of desperately wanting to reach the finish line rather than learning from the book or being entertained by the content.  At least I’m done with it.  We are about a third of the way through Lost Season 3 now.  While watching its initial run on national television, Season 3 wasn’t that good to me.  However, now that I’m watching it again back to back without interruption, it actually is a good season.  I still rate season 3 behind seasons 1 and 2 but not near the dropoff I remember it being.  I guess it comes down to the amount of dead time between episodes that hurts such a dramatic show dependant upon building up of plot and suspense.  This week’s weather looks to be the hottest of the year to date.  Dangerous heat actually.  Warnings are out for people to stay aware of heat related illness and also reminders to check on the elderly.  The next book I’m going to read is “Discover Your Inner Economist” by Tyler Cowen.
