Our American women’s beach volleyball team won the gold medal tonight.  I believe the men’s final is on Friday.  Things are looking good for the American basketball team too as they dominated one of the better teams today.  Nothing much happened today.  I rented a few movies my mom hasn’t seen that were worth renting so tomorrow we’ll watch a few hours of movies and relax.  Bowling last night left me a little sore today but not overly sore.  That’s a good thing!  Last year, bowling for the first time left me near bed ridden for a few days.  I’ll know the true extent of the damage tomorrow.  It seems that the older you get, the bigger the lapse between knowing the true damage done to your body.  Do something one day, find out it hurts 3-4 days later.  Then, it takes another 3-4 days to recover.  I remember back in my teens and 20’s how I could do anything and never have any ramifications from it.  Oh well, at least I’m smarter than I was back then, hopefully.  Oh, and the rumors were right, Metallica’s new song will be played tomorrow afternoon for the first time on the radio.
