The weekend is here and I’m so glad.  My wife completed her trip away and returned safe and sound!!  Now we have a couple of days of our time.  We spent some time watching more of Lost Season 2.  We have about 8 episodes left before we start season 3.  Last night I slept better, but not much better.  Still waiting for that magical night of restful sleep I remember having.  Unless something drastic happens, the Cardinals have all but packed it in.  They have lost 5 in a row now and their offense is gone, their bullpen has imploded, and their returning injured starters may be a little too late.  If they come in and throw like they did when they were uninjured, they have a chance.  However, we all know how injured pitchers pitch when coming back – not good.  Oh well, we can only hope the Cubs implode like normal and the Brewers cool off.  I’m not holding my breath.  I’m leaning towards reading the Seinfeld Philosophy book as my next book reading foray.
